Establishing a Next-generation ‘MiSeq’ Sequencing Facility at the Public Health Reference Lab (PHRL), KMU
Three-day training on establishing a next-generation ‘MiSeq’ sequencing facility at the PHRL, KMU was held at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Islamabad, Pakistan from 26th – 28th, September 2022.
The objectives of the training were as under:
- To technically prepare participants for accurately running the MiSeq.
- To get down to the real nitty-gritty of the protocols and machine hard- and software.
- To enhance the understanding of the participants on the pre- and post-run steps.
- To increase the understanding of participants on post-experimental analysis work.
The training participants included staff members of the PHRL, KMU, and a team from the NIH
